Beurer Heart Rate Monitor Glove is a valuable assistive training instrument that has been developed for measuring, displaying and monitoring the pulse. It is a photoelectric heart rate monitor without chest straps. You can use it when walking, jogging, running or during mild aerobic exercising.
The heart rate monitor has an optical finger sensor build in to a glove holder enabling the pulse to be measured at the left hand index finger. The Beurer Heart Rate Monitor is easy to use and comes already pre-assembled. Simply wear the monitor on the top of your left hand like a glove, using the velcro straps to keep it in place. The pulse and other measurements are displayed on an illuminated display.
The heart rate monitor glove has three different modes:
time mode - in this mode the time of the day is shown continually
stopwatch mode - this mode allows you to record times and lap times
pulse mode - displays your pulse in beats per minute
The device will also display your upper pulse limit and your lower pulse limit in relation to the maximum pulse as well as allow you to measure, record and store your continuous and cumulative calorie consumption in kcal. Other functions of the Beurer heart monitor glove include presenting you with the times that you have used within your set training limits and sounding an alarm if or when you exceed your upper and/or lower pulse limits. The Beurer Heart Rate Monitor Glove also performs a Recovery Test that shows you how fast your pulse rate reduces after a physical exertion. The faster your pulse rate returns to normal the better is your condition and fitness. For your best awareness, you should carry out a recovery test either at the end of training session or during an interval in training.
