The dispensing pump is suitable for both sizes of containers - the 1.89 litres (half US gallon) and the 3.58 litres (US gallon). The pump is sturdy and durable and will last for a long time. You will be able to transfer it to your next container of the Soothing Touch Massage Oil in the same size. Please note that the pump in its original size fits the gallon size of oil container. For use with half gallon container, it has to be shortened and therefore once shortened, for subsequent uses it can be used with half gallon containers only.
