Beex Air Cleaner and Purifier is nicely styled and smart looking. It is very quiet and uses little energy. Beex Air Purifier uses a true HEPA 5-stage filtration system.
1: Pre-filter Large particles of dust, hair, lint and pet hairs are removed at this stage of air filtering. Pre-filter does not require replacing - you simply clean it with vacuum cleaner every 2 - 3 months. 2: Medium filter Medium filter catches fine dust and dust mites. Extra 3 spare medium filters are supplied with the device. Medium filter membrane should be replaced once every 3 months. The unit is supplied with one fitted medium filter and 3 spare filters, lasting you for 12 months. 3: HEPA filter High Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) filter is designed to remove the very smallest particles from the air and effectively removes pollen, bacteria, viruses, mould, fungal spores, dandruff, smoke and other very small allergens and pollutants. HEPA filter is capable of removing 99.97% of airborne particles larger than 0.3 µm (0.3 micrometers) and 95% of particles sized 0.1 µm. HEPA filter is also capable of removing any radioactive particles from the air. HEPA filter and deodorising filter are bound together in a carbon cartridge and are replaceable together. This filter - carbon cartridge - lasts about 12 to 18 months, depending on the usage of the device, regularity of cleaning of pre-filter and prompt replacements of medium filter membranes. Once the carbon cartridge is coming to the end of its life, the control panel displays a flickering warning, giving you ample time to acquire / purchase spare filter pack as detailed below.

Once the carbon cartridge is coming to the end of its life, the control panel displays a flickering warning, giving you ample time to acquire / purchase spare filter pack as detailed below. 5: Photocatalytic filter (UV lamp) The key function of the photocatalytic filter is an advanced sterilisation process using an integral UV lamp, which ensures that if there are still any remaining residues of micro-organisms, viruses, gases, odours and smoke in the filtered air, these are effectively removed. The UV lamp should be replaced each time you replace the carbon cartridge (HEPA and deodorising filters bound together as described above).
Maintenance and Spare Filter Pack Beex Air Purifier is virtually maintenance free. Simply clean the pre-filter with vacuum cleaner every 2 - 3 months. Replace the medium filter membrane every 3 months. The carbon filter and the UV lamp after 12 - 18 months as indicated by a flickering indicator on the display. The filters are easy to replace in just a couple of minutes.
